Cranked amps aren't really a significant part of Jack's sound, as he always used a pedal to boost his signal. His main amp was almost always a Fender Twin, even when he was running the additional Silvertone amps on the side. He wasn't running his Twin loud enough to get natural overdrive, so he used pedals to do the trick.
